Journal Entry – Saturday April 21st 1917

A wonderful day. Really warm & fine & like spring, it is almost too good to be true. Temp 58°.

The fighting in France is fearful a large casualty list in each day and stop one list of 46 officers wounded & 13 killed all belonging to the Northumberland Fusiliers.
