Picnic Teas – Booking Essential

Get out and about after Lockdown and enjoy a Picnic Tea in the peaceful garden at Kelly House. where there is plenty of space to wander or sit, and chat or just relax and listen to the sounds of the countryside.

Bring your Partner, come with your Carer, meet a friend or members of your family, or come with your “Bubble”, and enjoy a simple picnic tea with sandwiches, and homemade Cake, savoury scones, and biscuits.

There is good Parking on the level in our courtyard, and apart from the woodland area, the garden is accessible for wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters, though the ground is uneven in places.

The Picnic tables will be set out in various locations, some in full sun, some in the shade.

To maintain social distancing numbers will be limited each day to 9 groups of up to 4 people, and 1 group of up to 6 from the same family.

 All visits must be booked in advance either through the online system on our website or by telephone (01822 870363). Payment should be made by cash in an envelope on arrival.

The cost will be £10 per person, of which £2.50 will be donated to Childrens Hospice South West.

The garden will be open for these Picnic Teas between 2.00pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday, from the 20th of April to the 27th of June. This Schedule will be subject to the weekly Weather Forecast and may be varied if inclement weather is forecast.  Any changes will be posted on our website at the beginning of the week.
