Journal Entry –Tuesday December 22nd 1914

Lovely day, white frost, clear sky.

Iced cakes in the morning, in the afternoon went to Yalford to see goddaughter. During the day we had one postcard and 2 telegrams from Mary saying first that she was coming to day and secondly that she was not. After tea we did up the flannel for the men, and the servants presents.
