Away from all the main roads, yet within easy reach of the A30 and the towns of Launceston and Tavistock, we are in a great spot to explore all local tourist attractions, from the North Cornish coastal towns of Tintagel, Port Isaac and Padstow (Padstein if you prefer!) to the rolling South Hams, home to some of the country’s greatest food and drink producers.
Plymouth and Exeter, cities of extraordinary history and heritage are within an hour, with access to the airports in Newquay and Exeter just a little further.
Walking routes both on our doorstep and further afield all over Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and Exmoor offer a range of challenging escapades, and the tough road trails offer some the the best cycle training in the world – take a day out on a bike and prove us wrong! You can climb at the local climbing barn , Sail at roadford and of course surf on the north coast of Cornwall.
